Birchin is a boutique insurance broker built around Professional Indemnity. We started Birchin for a simple reason: as the big brokers consolidated, clients lost choice and personal service in the rush to standardise. We wanted to bring that independence back.
We're owned and managed by a team of respected industry figures with a long history in insurance broking. The Birchin name may be newer than some — but the experience behind it isn't.
As an independent broker, we have no external shareholders pulling us toward a particular insurer, scheme or network. That freedom matters. It means we can place each risk wherever the right cover genuinely sits — and put your firm's interests first, every time.
Birchin is part of a fully independent group of insurance and professional service businesses, free of outside control. We're based in the centre of Bristol and work with professional firms across the UK.
